Marmalade and warshcloths. What a combination.
I took a break from knitting socks to make some Meyer Lemon Marmalade, and some warshcloths.
I made the marmalade with Melody, and we had a great afternoon, peeling, seeding, slicing and cooking. We started with about sixteen lemons from our tree, and ended up with about ten half-pint jars.

My contribution to the Blogger’s Silent Poetry Reading for the Feast of St Brigid. I love Shakespeare’s Sonnets. When I feel confused I often read them aloud to the cats, to hear the rhymes, the meter. Sonnet 30 at first reading is pretty dire. But the final couplet saves it.
