Marmalade and warshcloths. What a combination.
I took a break from knitting socks to make some Meyer Lemon Marmalade, and some warshcloths.
I made the marmalade with Melody, and we had a great afternoon, peeling, seeding, slicing and cooking. We started with about sixteen lemons from our tree, and ended up with about ten half-pint jars.
We’ve already finished one jar, given one away, and have three left. It’s yummy.
And the warshcloths? They are for Melody.
Very pretty photo and the marmalade is DELICIOUS! Thank you so much for giving one away. I am not ashamed to say that my jar is almost clean. Sad, but not ashamed.
I’m sorry, what is a warshcloth? xD But it is a very lovely photo, anyhow! ^^
A warshcloth is a dishcloth.
Do you read the Mason-Dixon blog? (http://www.masondixonknitting.com/) Their book has a popular pattern called the Ball Band Dishcloth. Ann is from Nashville, and often refers to it as a warshrag to show her southern roots.
Thanks for the compliment on the photo.
