In these heady days before a national election, it may be wise to define some terms. For example, what’s the difference between a progressive and a liberal?  David Sirota wrote in 2005 for  HuffPost that liberals want to use government funds to help society. While progressives “are those who focus on using government power to make large institutions play by a set of rules.”

I find that interesting, but alas, not very helpful in my quest for finding the perfect fiber to spin for those twins.

Now I’m considering this fiber from Spunky Eclectic called Summer’s End. It’s the October Club fiber in super wash merino, so a great choice for kid’s stuff.

And like the Mumtaz and Iris, it’s a progression — one color moving easily to another to create long color repeats.

So, okay, it looks a little like a hurricane map, but it isn’t that a little apropos for twins?
